Résumé
The book named Problems of artistic and aesthetic value in the movie of Karel Kachyna deals with artistic value and aesthetic value in two movies of a director Karel Kachyna during years 1948-1968 in Czechoslovakia because this period is connected with expressive political changes which are forcefully reflected in movie and art in general. The book is based on analytical aesthetics and therefore movies will be considered according to the definition of an aesthetician Tom?S Kulka, who defines work of art and its aesthetic and artistic value. The aim of this work is to find out if both movies correspond with previously mentioned values and if it is possible to qualify them as a work of art.
Biographie
Bc. Jana Koprivov? is from the Czech Republic. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts in Brno, field of study Aesthetics. Currently she continues at the faculty as a student of master program: Comparative and Art Studies. Jana's passion for Czech film, art and culture in general is evident in this book which is her debut.
